Nicole started taking ballet when she was just 2 years old at her aunt's studio. She continued with many forms of dance until high school and then began pursuing dance again in her 20's for a fun form of exercise. This led her to take some yoga classes and then pilates. When she became a regular student at Center of Gravity, her teacher (Kjerstin) talked her into taking the teacher training courses.
Nicole studied for her pilates training through Core Dynamics and has been teaching for over 4 years. She thought that learning how to teach others would be a great compliment to her 11 year massage therapy practice. She loves helping people learn how to take care of their bodies and wholeheartedly believes in the underlying message that pilates teaches, which is balancing strength and fluidity for the body and mind. |
